How To Fix A Scratched Cd

Dont throw out that scratched disc yet
Try fixing it with a small dab of...........CAR WAX!!!!

That's right and here's how to do it :
1. Spread a cloth on a flat surface and place the CD on it.
2. Then, hold the disc with one hand, use the other to wipe the polish into the affected area with a soft cloth.
3. Wait for it to dry and buff using short, brisk strokes along the scratch, not across it.
4. A cloth sold to wipe spectacles or camera lenses will work super m8's.
5. When you can no longersee the scratch,, wash the disc with water

Another option that I have had a great deal of success with is "SkipDr.".   You can find more info here: digitalinnovations.com.  It's $40 and worth it. It used to be called "GameDr." but it appears they've changed the name.  I hope this helps salvage discs you thought were lost.  It did for me.

My brother had the brilliant idea to make me try and remove some jam that my other brother had got on one of my cds with white spirit. (this was several years ago)
It erased the whole cd!
