I know this show. I have it, too, and it's really sweet. But one thing I just noticed: It's funny how for Americans Germany equals Bavaria. Cologne isn't even close to Bavaria.

Hey!  Leave us Americans alone!  All we need to know is where the nearest Walmart is!  :p

Oh, and really nice show too. ;)

What is the alternative to Wal-Mart? Target? I refuse to shop at Target because I worked there when I was 16. They made me stay until 1:30am to help straighten the store out even when it was illegal. I had school the next day. I asked to leave because I was a minor and they said no. I reported them to the child labor services, but to this day I will not shop in a Target unless there is no other option.

Depends on your area really.  That and what you shop for at Wal-Mart.  As much as possible I try to buy my groceries from Publix & Wild Oats.  Kroger's now and then if I'm workin' late.  I'm not surpised to hear that about Target.  When I lived in Lexington, we had Meyer's which is a decent company from what I heard from people who worked for them.

As far as things like music and DVDs I either shop online, go to local record stores or hit places like Best Buy.  Trust me, I was a Wal-Mart-ophile for years and I always just assumed that  I couldn't afford to shop any place else.  So I haven't set foot in one for almost a year and my checking account's not much worse for the wear.

Dez, now look what you started, this was a nice thread about a good show but it has turned into a discussion about walmart and the best places to do your shopping.

Don't blame Dez!!!  I take full responsibility.  Besides, I thought it was a discussion about some town in Mexico called Kopenhagen...right?

:D
