it may as well be death because i dont like this song much , i wish they would never play it live again !

do i have to listen to the clips , i did hear a half decent stripped back version once , is there an acoustic version on the list ? so i dont have to listen to them all :yeah:

two cups of coffee later ( it is too early to have anything stronger ) :rolleyes: i picked H , i think my favourite version wasnt on the list :D

after listening to 12 versions of that i have decided i prefer Big Yellow Taxi :p

I had a hard time deciding between version f and version J.  Went with version J, as it already had a vote.

I think he was dropped on his head as a child - it's the only thing that could explain this sort of damage. One of my faves...

Thoughts:

The first few versions are competent, but a kinda perfunctory. Adam developed a soulfulness of performance with this song that I think is nicely evident on later performances.

I'm not sure why people voted for H - it has a terrible hissing sound in it that made it unlistenable to me.

I thought J was fine, but it didn't do anything for me.

I went with L, because like the combo of the full band version, with the quiet breakdown before the next to last chorus. E was good too, as was G, but they were two ends of the spectrum - E all the way loud, G very quiet, and I liked L in between.
