What's the most boring film you've seen?
« on: May 03, 2009, 04:47:05 PM »
I think for me it would have to be "The English Patient". I just couldn't care less about any of the characters, and I thought it was looooong and dull. I seem to remember it was very popular when it came out, so maybe I'm just a cynical bastard(ess) :D

Man there are a lot of boring ones. The most recent was 'Observe & Report'. I like Seth Rogan but that thing was a dog with fleas. There's nothing worse than a boring comedy. Chick flicks you expect to be like watching paint dry but alleged comedies... it's unforgiveable.

I never finish a dull movie. The English Patient always sounded like a drama and i dont like dramas.
I tried watching Valkerie, but honestly....i didnt finish it. It was boring.

I'm still not sure if I've watched all of the english patient.  I know it was required for my film class several years ago and if I'm not mistaken I think it has Ralph Fiennes, so I probably did.  from what I remember, it was a pretty good movie...  the worst movie that I don't think I finished viewing was probably Magnolia.  I don't know if it was a horrible movie, I was in a different mood, or if my boyfriend at the time was just such a huge jackass that he wouldn't let me finish it.  he through it away.  more than once.  and it was my video.  and the jackass' ears must have been ringing cause he just called me in the middle of my writing this...

i agree its dreadful , Sharon liked it but i cannot stand any English Period dramas ......... and i dont like musicals either , why spoil a good film by putting singing in it , fine on the stage but not on the big screen

Rent, The Wall, Tommy... are you ready to toss all of these into the dumpster as well? Me & Geoff aren't giving up on this one.
