avast trojan trigger?
« on: May 20, 2009, 03:10:28 PM »
Anyone else ever have avast trigger when you try to reach the Crowstown homepage? Seems like it's reading a trojan in the smiley gifs. One of the links in question is:

http://www.powerchicas.nl/images/smiles/mad.gif

First time this has happened to me so I was wondering if anyone else had this or if it's anything to worry about.

Probably some dodgy porn site Jim....they just missed a space out:

A vast Trojan Tigger (as in a massive brand of condom).

Could be a new career there!    ;)

Jim I don't think there is anything to worry about, we used powerchicasnl images here along time ago when all audio torrents had a  certified lossless image attached.

The reason for this is because some of the images such as smiles etc are on christines server on powerchicas.nl

My avast isn't reacting to anything here.
I like soap bubbles.

I got this virus message this morning, and McAfee thought it would be really good to not let my browser connect to CT any more. I've uninstalled McAfee and its working now, but not sure if I should be without anti virus software for long. Is there something in the settings on McAfee where I can tell it this site is okay or something? so that I can reinstall it?

Getting the same warning using Sophos.......two different variants of the same thing.

Started getting it at work now too.
A bit worrying to say the least.
