i'm getting the same error - using AVG.

Could we perhaps disable smileys till we know what the problem is?

Missed out on this thread, sorry for my late response.

Like Simon said, almost all CT images are stored at powerchicas.nl since the beginning of CT. powerchicas.nl is no porn haha, just my personal server (external host) and powerchicas was the name of my former softball team.

Anyway, I have no problems myself and never had any before w/ other stuff @ the same server. But I'll try to find out what causes these errors and hopefully fix it. Can't do anything right now though, I'm at work.

I'm no expert on this kind of shit and I think I have to install AVG myself to find out what's going on. Any detailed information from you all will help a bunch, so please tell me what's happening exactly at your end.
It could be as simple as uploading new images and overwrite the old ones. Dunno, have to do it to find out. Keep you all posted.

It could just be an avast issue. I don't want you to go through all that trouble if there's not a problem there. Hate to be the chicken little of the gang.

It's not just avast, it's also AVG and some others with the same error. And when it's actually as easy as replacing the images, it's no trouble at all. We will find out later tonight (have to play a softball game first).

Asking me for help is a very bad idea :)

Well I get a pop up saying a trojan as been found, it says the server name - powerchicas.nl and lists the same smilies in Jim's post

It's a little hard to miss Andy, so I'm guessing your not getting the same error :)

I'm having no problems at all either, I have norton anti virus, also because of the login problem with firefox I now only use my IE browser here, don't know if its a problem with certain browsers?

I don't think it's a browser issue - I'm using IE8 and I'm getting the messages. Hard to understand why it's showing up for some and not others... but this stuff is way out of my league.

Yeah I don't think it's a browser issue, I've tried IE and Firefox and still have problems. I don't understand either but it's way, way out of my league

OK all images which caused the errors are replaced. Can someone please check if everything is alright now?
I'm using Norton and no pop ups or whatsoever. I dunno how to check if it was efficient to overwrite the infected images. Please let me know if there are still infected images left and if so... names, I wanna have names ;)
