todays silly question
is there any simple way to boost volume levels in lossless music files such as WAV without losing any quality in the recording ? i know how to normalise when burning a cd or raising the volume using audacity but both can lead to distortion/hiss or loss of quality.
if have several old Crows shows recorded with minidisc which have very low volume levels .
i know i can just turn the volume up on my hifi , but on portable music players or in the car low volume levels can be a problem .
does anybody use or recommend WAVEGAIN ?http://members.home.nl/w.speek/wavegain.htm
