And I have the following comps not on Phi's list:

Live Forever
Distances Between Yesterday and Now
Waterfall of Frowns (quite a title!)
Candy Coated
Acoustic in Europe
We're Only Love
Turn Up the Radio
Live on Letterman

I think there's also some stray mp3s and stuff, like from CKKL and the like, that weren't on Simon's list.

We'll make it happen.  I've not been on the site in a while due to other life obligations, but this idea is worth it.  I also haven't been keeping up with any of the new boots, so I'll have to get on top of that one of these days as well.

This is an interesting idea. I had not really thought of trading HD's.

So to be clear, the person A would ship off their HD (carefully protected, of course) and then when person B got it, they would copy everything off of it and then mail the HD back?

That is an interesting thought.  There are various risks there (depending on who you are trading with, whether that person would be a jerk and delete everything (or simply MOVE files, rather than copy).

I love the idea though.  While I don't have any Crows shows (Although I aspire to have everything from their debut tour - A&EA - audio wise) I have a lot of bootlegs of hip hop stuff (tons of D'Angelo and The Roots stuff as well), so if anyone wanted to do a trade where they send a HD to me...I copy off some shows and then I copy over a bunch of my own stuff that you picked out, and then ship it back...that could work.

Yeah, I've done it with Damien Rice shows a while back - there were a few hiccups there, but not the end of the world. I have to get back to work on this sometime soon...

Might be cheaper to do it with thumbdrives, depending on how much media is being transferred.  Size wise, you're capped at a maximum of 128GB per thumbdrive, and I would imagine that the transfer speed would be lower than an external WD or Seagate or whatever.

I have a 64GB Transcend Flashdrive and a 1TB WD MyPassport, but that's my only HD.  So I'd probably have to pick up a spare HD to put all the boots on and then trade that and pray it comes back. ha ha.

Oh, we'd definitely need at least a 1TB hard drive for it. I have one ready.
