anyone visited Mininova today? Now, I'm not advocating what the site does, or why it was set up in the first place, but it now looks to be essentially dead.

i'm not gonna lie, i've downloaded HEAPS of stuff from that site. Sadly, the decomissioning of one site only serves to spawn others, as we know. I wonder what will come next.

any thoughts?

I think EZTV takes care of that.

EZTV is certainly the #1 source for anyting TV related.

I guess demonoid is still out there, although that site has been down for "maintenance" for a suspiciously long time now.

what will people use as an alternative to mininova?

EZTV is fine for a limited number of tv titles, Rob, but I much prefer http://www.tvtorrents.com; their list of shows is HUGE and download speeds top anything I ever got from EZTV by a wide margin.  Most all new shows are uploaded as avi. and mkv. files both, and generally within an hour or so of broadcast.

Torrentz is just a torrent search engine who use several differents trackers so i don't think your spyware come from here but more than the torrent or the tracker you used because i never got a problem ;)
