Hey Rob,
You're not soundin' like you're hating to tell us so:D Congrats on that great performance. I saw her receive her medal last night. I see how she stole your heart....like candy from a baby....but you better get it back...she's getting married (is that to you???)....in Salt Lake City. You didn't say you were traveling to our fair country, so I'm thinkin' someone else stole hers.....ouch!

trust me mate, it's the only gold we'll win I reckon. And yes, she is getting married, but no, unfortunately not to me. She's actually a devout mormon and is a very simple, clean living girl. Having said that, if I stand outside her window for long enough, surely she'll see how much i love her? Right?!

Yeah, when I heard she was getting married in Salt Lake City, I figured she was a mormon....and then I KNEW it wasn't to you she was marrying:D Since you're not a mormon, you can't even GO to the wedding (it's a very exclusive club). IF you take a boombox with you when you stand outside her window and play Crows tunes, you might have a chance. Otherwise mate, I'd get my heart stolen elsewhere. Nice guy like you...... shouldn't take long. Good luck to Australia with more gold.....that'd make me happy. Just watch Apollo Ohno on the short track tonight and smile, 'cause he kicks serious skating arse...and pretend he skates for Australia....you'll have another gold.

Royal backing for Norway's flashy Olympic trousers

Flashy trousers sported by Norway's Olympic men curling team have proved a hit with fans in Vancouver, drawing admiration even from Norway's king.

King Harald V has reportedly described the bright harlequin-pattern slacks as "the coolest pants I've ever seen".

Reports say the monarch is now expected to fly to Canada to watch Norway play Great Britain later on Tuesday.

"We could hang out with the King of Norway and give him some pants," Norwegian player Thomas Ulsrud said.

"It's just crazy," he added.

The team's diamond-patterned trousers have not affected its performance - Norway are currently second in the table in the 10-nation round-robin group after trouncing France 9-2 on Monday.

We have the coolest King ever!  :D
