And... Brazil is out. And just because of their own stupidity. They played their best football in the World Cup during the first half and the first ten minutes of the second, but as soon as the Netherlands scored their first goal, they forgot everything they had done and started playing awfully. And then Felipe Melo did that stupid foul...

shame for Ghana i think they deserved to go through ........ as for the other match Holland deserved to win but its such a shame that two sides with such great traditions of playing the game the proper way with fine flowing football resort to to diving and cynical fouls , as soon as things werent going the way of Brazil they become so indisciplined and were lucky to only have one sent of .

look at Robben and Van Persie , two very gifted players who would be truly world class if it wasnt for the fact they throw themselves to the ground at every chance they get the slightest touch and they are down , if they stayed on their feet they would be classed up with Messi who gets fouled but rides the challenges and keeps going and in most cases scores goals he wouldnt have done if he went to ground so easily .

i have some great friends in Holland but i fell the winner looks destined to come from todays half of the draw

What an ending i also felt sorry for Ghana. At least that dirty handball makes us play against  Uruguay without Suarez ;)
I agree it's a shame there isn't more proper football and throwing yourself to the ground seems to be a hype these days.

I agree totally with you Andy.

Such a shame for Robben who is a great skilled players to dive and play comedy. I would add that Van Bommel is also a very dirty player he should get red card to every match he plays.

Very true, so far i'm happy he is in the dutch team. He's usually in the right spot at the right time and does whatever needs to be done to win.

Hoping for Spain now. I can't support Germany, they remind me too much of Rosenborg.

Not sure who i want to win tonight.Beating Germany in the finals would be fantastic but losing from them is still very hard for many dutch people. But in all honesty i really enjoyed watching them play so far and they deserved to come this far.

its amazing that probably two of the greatest sides i have ever seen have been Dutch but never managed to win the world cup and this side with very few stars but great team work may just go and become world champions
