So far all I know is..

6/16- Centennial Terrace, Sylvania, OH
6/18- Cain Park, Cleveland Heights, OH
6/20- Wolf Trap, Vienne, VA
8/11- Magic City Blues Fest, Billings, MT

I think they should all be announced tomorrow.. or at least the "First leg" of the tour, considering some presales are Wednesday according to ticketmaster.

Adam just tweeted:

Counting Crows     ‏     @countingcrows
Got some stuff to talk to you about this  week. COUNTING CROWS is hitting the road this summer and we're taking  THE OUTLAW ROADSHOW with us!!

There are 3 legs to the tour starting in June and going all the way thru Sept so we're hitting every area of the country

We handpicked every venue ourselves to get out of the cookie cutter  places & into cooler outdoor gigs that WE wanted to play & YOU  will dig

But the best part is that we're taking THE OUTLAW ROADSHOW on the road with us to bring all OUR favorite new bands to YOU

This summer COUNTING CROWS & @theRSL Present THE OUTLAW ROADSHOW!! On The Road and Everywhere You Are -- All Summer Long!!!

Stay tuned for Band Announcements -- Starting Today!!!

This is as of 20 minutes...

That's awesome. I can't wait. At the NYC show Adam said he will see us in Brooklyn in July.

I wonder if its like a circus tour or just a lot of opening bands and less CC time?

Please play Pittsburgh...though if I am forced to travel to Cleveland, so be it. Easier than going to Atlantic City like I did over the weekend.

My understanding is not a Circus tour. No inside info, just reading between the lines in the way Adam has written about it.

This doesn't necessarily mean shorter CC shows. Lot of these outdoor venues have earlier starts, so they can easily do 3 1/2 hour opener slots and then a 1:45-2:00 Crows show.

I will say, I always defended the Circus shows from a time perspective (the Crows were on stage as long, if not longer, than on a normal tour, not even counting guesting on other artists' songs), but after going back to seeing a full Crows set, I could definitely feel the difference in the continuous Crows set. Just a bigger emotional buildup.

Yeah what it seems is that they're just opening bands.

Another show:

7/22 at Susquehanna Bank Center in Camden, NJ

I liked the circus tour on paper I guess I just did not like all the bands they played with. Unlike the Last Waltz where just about every big name musician came out to do a classic song you got none of that with the other bands the Crows toured with. Then again a friend of mine was at the NYC Last Waltz show and said they bombed. I just want an old school CC Rock N Roll show. The road show may be cool. However unless they are starting  in the afternoon it will cut the Crows time on stage. I checked out the bands from the SXSW road show  and I am not a fan of most of those bands. I love tender mercies and props to all the bads for playing real music. I just did not get the wow factor from those other bands. I guess I will have to wait for all the info to be released. Then I need to listen to all of those bands again. Then again ill take whatever I can get.

So who are the lucky folks who get a presale tomorrow? Does being a member of CC.com have any benefits at all?

6/12- Ives Concert Park, Danbury, CT
6/16- Centennial Terrace, Sylvania, OH
6/18- Cain Park, Cleveland Heights, OH
6/20- Wolf Trap, Vienne, VA
7/22- Susquehanna Bank Center, Camden, NJ

Kind of crazy that apparently some presales are tomorrow and no official announcement.
