I am sure they were both great shows arent all Crows gigs , but on paper those setlists dont look too exciting and still playing covers instead of old Crows gems .
Andy , somewhere in the heart of Sherwood Forest in little old England

Yeah, those still look like the same stuff from the last two years. Glad right now I only have tickets to one show this summer. (Admittedly, I'd probably go to more if getting to those big sheds didn't suck on weeknights.)

I bought groupon tickets to five shows not even sure if I can make them but didn't want to pass up on a steal. I saw 6 shows last year and about as many the year before. I too wish they would change it up a bit but when you've been seeing them for 20 years it would take a lot to blow me away at this point. I'm not even sure what a mind blowing setlist would be at this point. Maybe Margery, 40 Years, or other "when hell freezes over" gems.  Murder of one still blows me away but that's one of those that they only play like twice a year... same with HYSML.

I get that a lot of us have seen everything over the years, but there's a difference between not seeing something you've never seen before and seeing the same shows you've seen recently. Anna Begins and Perfect Blue Buildings for example, have barely hit the setlists in the last couple of years. But the specific songs aren't important. I want fresh alts (in Round Here, in Sullivan, in Elisabeth especially) and some different songs, so that the show I see this summer isn't substantially similar to the ones from last year.

Still sticking to the same openers at the same spot, same encore and a few variations in between.Come on it's high time to mix it up a little.

Dutchie's nailing it better than I could. We're on the third year of the encore. We're on the fifth(!) year of rotating RH and Sullivan as openers.

I'd love if they'd throw some variety in there... I've only been seeing them live since 2013 and it's been pretty similar sets ever since then.  Oh well, I keep coming out and leaving happy so it works!
