« on: July 10, 2017, 10:27:36 PM »

The tour begins tonight!  Anybody here going to any shows, depending on set list and show length I might go to Hartford. Hoping they really mix it up the last couple of tours have been pretty safe. no sign on the live downloads site of any shows this time.

whoops looks like I was two days early :)

I am also waiting on the setlists and reports to figure out my plan. Decent chance I'll make it to one show. If they're looking really great, maybe two.

So far no Round Here.

Any thoughts? Because it's a shorter set they want to start with a faster song instead of a 8 minutes slow song?
I just find it odd. Also I am curious about new alts.

I think it looks like a straight choice in these shorter sets for either Palisade Park / Rain King or Round Here and the first two seem to be permanent fixtures at the moment

They have played it twice in the last four shows but the band hasn't posted a setlist for me to fully verify/repost. Here's a stream I was able to watch live tonight: https://www.facebook.com/groups/ccmerrym/permalink/1630510906959536/

They opened with Round Here or Sullivan Street (with a few exceptions) for several years now so i'm glad they picked a different opener.I don't think an uptempo song like Hard Candy is a bad choice but i do hope they keep mixing it up a bit.
Round Here is a song most people want to hear so i think it's great if they put it on the setlist on a regular bases but on different spots. It seems in Reno they played Round Here followed by Palisades Park followed by Rain King so the lenght of the songs doesn't seem to be a problem.
As far as new alts go i haven't seen or heard anything new but i haven't watched that many videos to be honest.
