A live session for a UK newspaper in 2009. Really cool acoustic Rain King with Mr. Jones as the alt - love when they do the stripped down version of Rain King... really lets Adam got interesting places vocally. Also, a version of Colorblind (should come up separately).

A complete webcast from the TDL tour, a two hour show from London. Great example of where the band was creatively at this point - lots of alts, including an odd one in Mercury about magic carpet rides, Thunder Road in Rain King, No Scrubs in Hanginaround, She Doesn't Exist Anymore in Round Here... fun stuff. Also really like the take on Oasis' Live Forever with Adam on piano, which they played a bit in 2000.
Also a great reminder in 2017, when webcasts are 1080p HD, of what webcasts in 2000 looked like. We've come a long way!

A proshot piece of video from a 2002 show, intercut with band interviews. Guessing this was some sort of promotional thing for the Hard Candy album (maybe released online or as an EPK?). Basically the main Hard Candy singles plus the big hits.

A complete pro shot show from the RTS tour. An amazing show, one of the best Crows videos we have. Includes an exceptional take on Raining in Baltimore, which used to be up on annabegins.com.
P.S. I removed the intro and outro music here, so you'll get silence at the beginning and end. Doing so meant no restrictions on viewing devices, so I felt that was worth it. Everything else is intact.

A wonderful compilation of the August record live, as made by Rob (the source for much of this video footage). Terrific stuff, even if he's totally wrong about the best versions of Rain King and Sullivan Street (there's no way Oh Susannah and Runaway Girl versions can be the top, but that's merely one man's opinion).
I tried to include Rob's full notes on this one, because they're great, but it was way over the character limit on Youtube. Will post them separately here.
P.S. Due to the inclusion of Ghost Train from Storytellers, this might not be available on all devices. If you get an issue trying to watch this, switch to another device.

Big Yellow Taxi from LA in 2003. The whole show must be out there, but I'm not seeing it in my archives... maybe something still to uncover.

Webcast of the Crows' performance at Farm Aid in 2007. Really cool set for being on a big bill - they open with Rain King with Thunder Road (this was when they'd just gone back to playing it electric after playing it acoustic exclusively for a few years... Adam talked at the time about how they realized Millard had never played electric Rain King). Murder of One has the Doris Day alts and is pretty heavy, and there's a lovely intro into a long take on A Long December to close it out. 40 minutes to play 5 songs.

Couple of songs from a performance at the Virgin Festival in 2002. In separate videos, there's also a couple of audio tracks with slideshows.
Thanks to Andrew Mortiboy for sharing these.

There's a lot of Counting Crows on Letterman on Youtube, but not their 2008 performance - until now. Enjoy.
I often joke about Adam's attire, so I should say that I really dig this sweater. Nicely played, AD.

Capture of a webcast from when the Crows played an unannounced show at UC Berkeley as they were promoting SNSM. Not sure how close to complete this is.

Pieces of a couple of festival performances in Belgium, in 2000 and 2002. What's really exciting here is the Round Here from Marktrock, because it's the only performance of the Torn alt - yes, Natalie Imbruglia's Torn. It's kind of amazing in a really unexpected way. Like, you never thought about it being possible until you heard it and then it just sort of makes total sense. (Round Here starts at 14:40 in the video).
