I've been in a Movie Frenzy lately.  This is the order in the past week:

Talladega Nights
Tenacious D: Pick of Destiny
High Fidelity
Return of the Jedi
Spaceballs (totally caught another reference in there that I never had before.  I swear every time i watch it i see something new)
I want a white bread life
Just something ignorant and plain

Money may not buy you love, but it will buy plenty of hookers and blow - Me
Life is like walking into a room.  People notice you when you make a grand entrance, but people remember you when you make a grand exit - Me

The last movie I saw was Tropic Thunder. It was an advance screening (it doesn't come out until the end of August), and I highly recommend seeing it when it's released. It stars Ben Stiller, Jack Black, Robert Downey Jr. (who is completely unrecognizable as a black man), Nick Nolte, Tom Cruise, and Matthew McConaughey. Tom Cruise steals the movie; he is absolutely hilarious. Seriously. The movie is very grotesque at times, but it's soooo funny. At the screening I attended, there were lots of celebs there (Ben Stiller, Jerry Stiller, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Larry David, Peter Dinklage), and I sat behind Philip Seymour Hoffman. When the movie was over he summed it up best. Direct quote from him: "I don't know what to say. Oh. My. God." Ben Stiller directed it and I thought he did a great job considering the kind of film he was making (a ridiculous comedy).

I finally watched Sicko this week also but I didn't think it was that great compared to other documentary movies I have seen.  I now own over 40 of that genre since it is my favourite but I would not say that Sicko would make the top 20.

My #1 in the genre is called 'Dark Days'.  I urge everyone to see it!  http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0235327/
