Saturday Nights & Sunday Morning, The New Album
« on: June 08, 2007, 11:14:41 AM »
Saturday Nights & Sunday Morning most probably will be released sometime in this fall October, November or December. I would expect some new songs from this summer tour in the United States so i would love to see some people taping the shows when they can. We already lack some shows from the 2005 and 2006 tours and we hope this will change.

If anyone has more info about the new album please use this thread. I will make it a sticky too.

Come Around
Hanging Tree
Suffocate
Los Angeles
Cowboys
Insignificant

At least two, Come Around and Suffocate are re-works of old songs never released.  I saw somewhere that one "side" was going to have 9 songs.  If both Saturday and Sunday have around 9 songs that is a lot of material.

If anyone has more to add, please do.

The old live version of Suffocate is pretty easy to find.  I either got it off annabegins.com or found it on a file sharing network.

I'm pretty sure Los Angeles has been played live once, but I've never been able to find it.

Come Around was played live once or twice but a recording has never surfaced.

i believe Woody has a studio copy of "Los Angelas" from this year...... he keeps on bragging about it and says he's not sharing it. So either share it, or stop

the song los angeles is awesome!  it is very "bluesy".  it will be on the "saturday nights" side.  here are a few lyrics from the chorus...

"...so if you see the movie star in me, if you see my picture in a magazine, or if you fall asleep by the bedroom tv, honey im just tryin to make some sense outta me..." guitar and piano play

toward the end, adam starts saying:
"...no more boston, no more nashville, no more oakland...oh baby come on out to the scene...cmon take a walk down sunset with me...were gonna get drunk, find us some skinny girls and go street walkin!!  street walkin baby...in los angeles!  street walkin baby!  los angeles!"
Did you think that you were dreamin...I said "no"
